A simulation of satellite brightnesses and positions over the course of a night as seen from latitude 48N on the Equinox, based on 65,000 satellites (see Lawler, Boley, & Rein 2022: https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/1538-3881/ac341b).  The left plot shows an all-sky view with illuminated satellites colour-coded by brightness.  Those that are yellow, orange, or pink are naked-eye visible.  Also listed is the Nvis, the number of visible satellites and N, the number of illuminated satellites above the horizon.
