In this webinar, Dr. Farenick shares an overview of how he teaches Mathematics 103. Dr. Farenick uses the software tool Explain Everything for teaching mathematics in a remote fashion (both synchronous and asynchronous) and for working remotely on mathematical research with graduate students and collaborators. In this presentation, Dr. Farenick: (i) reviews how he structured Mathematics 103 as a web-based asynchronous course, which he taught in the Fall 2020 semester; and (ii) demonstrates some features of the tool Explain Everything, for both asynchronous and synchronous web-based teaching.
